Sports Premium
Sports Premium funding is in addition to schools core budget and is provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport.
The premium is to be used to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport, for the benefit of primary-aged pupils, to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.
Schools receive the Sports Premium funding based on the number of pupils in years 1 to 6.
